Paw of the Month

  • Pet Name: Stanley
    Pet Parents: Jason Walker

Stanley Walker, the Springer Spaniel who has been a member of The Paw Stop since we opened, has finally won The Paw of the Month Award. He keeps everyone entertained as he walks into the playroom with a look on his face that is quite possibly the cutest smirk we have every come across. He has won this award because he has been one of the best dogs in our energetic playrooms for three years straight – and we really don’t think he has any plans to stop being so good.

Testimonials

  • I recently moved from NC to NYC needed a friendly place to take care of my two dogs during the day while I’m at work.  Lucky for me and my dogs, we found The Paw Stop – a place that’s not only friendly, but also staffed with a truly awesome and dedicated group of people.  I knew this move was going to be confusing and stressful for the dogs, but I wasn’t prepared for how completely traumatizing it has been for one of them (Elvis).  Elvis became withdrawn, depressed, grumpy, he wasn’t eating well, he wasn’t playing, he wasn’t happy. …

  • I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail and say Thank You to you and your staff for making Louie's 1st Birthday as special as it seems to have been. I appreciate it alot, and the bag of goodies were just perfect. He loved the piece of the cake I gave him last night and the tennis balls are exactly what I've been looking for. In fact I just bought a can of the bigger ones that squeak, but they're a little too big for him, so the little ones are just perfect. I haven't yet given him one…

  • I'm watching Elvis playing and having fun this morning, and I'm SO grateful to all of you for helping him through this frightening and traumatic move from NC to NYC. He acts all tough, but really he's a very sensitive, insecure boy, and I appreciate so much your patience and persistence with him.

  • Hi Alex, I promised i would report back on Max's barking. you said it would take 2 or 3 days? 10 minutes! I still cant quite believe it. First thing on Saturday morning I let him out with the pinch collar and the long lead. he started barking like crazy at the neighbor about half an hour later. I called him, he retreated. i retrieved him, put him on his regular lead and walked him and did obedience training on the lawn for 10 minutes and then put him back on the long lead. about half an hour later he…

  • Last night we left Zoe home alone on the couch.  We came home to a happy excited dog but from when we left she wasn’t barking and when we came home she wasn’t.  I think I might turn on the recorder to my computer today to see what happens during the time between.  The only thing was one poop not stomped in just missed the wee wee pad.  This morning Zoe is lying in the corner windows in a little nook where the sun is squeezing in between the blinds, this is something I prayed for because my dog never…
